Backayard Tunes was set up to share our love of music, we aim to specialise in rare, unusual and hard to find Caribbean and African music

Backayard Tunes is owned and run by Mr Selwyn George Seymour and was founded in 2013.

We are passionate about a variety of music, including Reggae, Gospel, Soca, Jazz, Latin, Blues, Salsa, Disco, Funk, and Dancehall.

We want to make it as simple as possible for you to discover new music.

We also offer a range of services for artists and producers to help them promote their music.

Why we decided to set up the website

About a year and half ago we decided it was time to create an African and Caribbean music website, specializing in rare, unusual, and hard to find music, just like the music we enjoy but could never get hold of.
